Secondary Current Injection Test Sets: useable for Protective devices such as relays, overload Coils, Circuit breakers and CTs etc. must be checked regularly to ensure that they are always ready to operate correctly, Routine current injection testing will quickly detect faulty or incorrectly adjusted protection circuits / devices & will be possible to prevent serious damage to the system. Current Injection Kit is designed to operate on single phase 230 Volts 50 HZ to develop smooth & continuous test current as for loading, calibrating, and testing of CTs, Bimetal Relays, Protection Relays etc. The test set gives high current output at low cost and with inherent safety . Secondary Current injection testing is undoubtedly valuable, but it does not check all of the components in the system the heating effect of the primary current will not be present and, in some types of test, this can significantly affect the results obtained.OUTPUT RANGES:

FAQs of Secondary Injection Test Set:
Q: How is the Secondary Injection Test Set used during relay testing and calibration?
A: The Secondary Injection Test Set is employed to inject precise currents or voltages into protective relays, simulating fault conditions without subjecting primary circuits to actual faults. This allows safe, accurate testing and calibration, ensuring relays act as intended in real-world scenarios.
Q: What types of relays are compatible with this test set?
A: This test set is fully compatible with both electromechanical and digital relays, accommodating the needs of modern smart grids and traditional protection systems, making it a versatile solution for a wide variety of relay types in the field.
Q: When should I utilize the manual versus remote control operation modes?
A: Manual operation is ideal for on-site, direct control during hands-on diagnostics, while the remote operation feature is best suited for safety-focused situations or when operating the unit from a distance, particularly in hazardous or restricted-access environments.
Q: Where is the optimal environment to operate this device?
A: For best performance and safety, use the test set indoors or in sheltered environments where ambient temperatures are between 0C and 40C and humidity levels remain below 85% RH (non-condensing). The device is designed to withstand shocks and heat common in industrial and laboratory locations.
Q: What process ensures the safety of operators during testing?
A: Operator safety is ensured by the inclusion of an insulation box, grounding provision, thermal cut-off for overheating, and integrated overload and short-circuit protection. The device also features air-cooling and is housed in shock- and heat-resistant material to minimize risk during operation.
Q: How does the digital meter display enhance measurement accuracy?
A: The digital meter display provides precise real-time readings with a resolution of 0.01A and 0.1V, supporting highly accurate adjustments and immediate feedback during testing, which is vital for reliable verification and calibration of sensitive protective equipment.
Q: What benefits does portability offer for distribution and use?
A: Its compact, lightweight design, weighing just 8kg, enables easy transportation and swift setup, allowing distributors, manufacturers, and service teams to support multiple sites efficiently, minimizing downtime for maintenance and maximizing practical deployment flexibility.
